Spanish Training in Avilés Semester Programs

DURATION: 2 Semesters
SEMESTER 1: September - December
SEMESTER 2: January - May
HOURS PER SEMESTER: 320 hours
HOURS PER WEEK: 20 hours
HOURS PER DAY: 4 hours

ON-SITE: Mandatory attendance

The program aims to consolidate the B1 level of Spanish during the first semester and prepare students to access university in Spain, reaching a B2 level by the end of the second semester.

Semester 1: Intermediate Plus Spanish

Semester Goals

  • Improve grammar, comprehension, and oral and written expression to consolidate a B1 (first semester) and reach a B2 (second semester)
  • Learn specific vocabulary in the field of health.
  • Develop communication skills in academic and professional contexts.

Semester 2: Advanced Intensive Spanish and Preparation for Health Sciences Subjects

Semester Goals

  • Achieve an advanced level of Spanish (B2/C1)
  • Prepare content for key subjects in health sciences degree programs.
  • Learn to apply Spanish in a scientific and university context
